Zig.ai Launches ZigMobile: Your AI Sales Assistants, Now Wherever Your Reps Are
Jul 9, 2026 6:37 AM

SAN FRANCISCO--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- Zig.ai today announces the launch of the ZigMobile app, a new mobile command center that enables sales professionals to manage prospecting, lead capture, meeting preparation, and follow-up directly from their smartphones.

Built for account executives and revenue teams, the ZigMobile App extends the power of Zig’s AI assistant into the field, allowing users to create leads, conduct company research, access meeting intelligence, and execute tasks through voice commands while on the go.

“Sales reps don't spend their day sitting behind a computer,” said Steve Ancheta, founder and CEO of Zig.ai. “The idea behind the Zig app was simple: if Zig is truly an AI executive assistant for sales teams, it shouldn't stop working the moment someone leaves their desk. We wanted to create a companion that travels with sales reps and helps them capture opportunities as they happen.”

One of the app's most popular features is its scanner-to-lead functionality, which allows users to instantly capture contact information from business cards, handwritten name tags, cocktail napkins, event materials, and other real-world sources. Zig.ai automatically enriches contacts with company information, professional profiles, and context, while enabling users to add voice notes that generate personalized follow-up communications.

The app was inspired by a challenge Zig.ai's own team experienced while attending industry conferences. Despite having powerful AI tools available on desktop, the team lacked a practical way to capture conversations, organize contacts, and take action while actively networking.

“When we attended events, we realized we were losing valuable opportunities because we couldn't easily document conversations or create actionable follow-up while moving between meetings,” said Piyush Bhopalka, co-founder and head of product Zig.ai. “We challenged ourselves to solve that problem and built the first working version in less than 24 hours. What started as an internal need quickly became one of the most requested experiences from our customers.”

“From the beginning, we believed sales teams needed a mobile-first experience that worked alongside the desktop platform, not separately from it,” said Lavish Mantri, co-founder and head of engineering at Zig.ai. “Every interaction, workflow, and AI capability was designed to move seamlessly between web and mobile, ensuring reps always have access to the information and actions they need.”

The app is available on both iOS and Android and was designed to maintain a seamless experience across Zig's desktop and mobile environments.
