Argentine peso, stock index up after Milei's reform bill approved

BUENOS AIRES, June 13 (Reuters) - Argentina's peso and

benchmark stock index strengthened on Thursday, following the

Senate approval of a reform bill key to libertarian President

Javier Milei's economic plans.

The Argentine peso strengthened over 5.3% in the

parallel black market to 1,220 per dollar, while the Merval

stock index rose more than 4%, traders said.
