Asian Equities Traded in the US as American Depositary Receipts Edge Higher in Monday Trading

10:33 AM EST, 11/25/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Asian equities traded in the US as American depositary receipts were edging up on Monday morning, up 0.1% to 2,041.86 on the S&P Asia 50 ADR Index.

From North Asia, the gainers were led by video platform IQIYI ( IQ ) and artificial intelligence company Tuya ( TUYA ) , which advanced 10% and 5.2% respectively.

They were followed by biopharmaceutical company Zai Lab ( ZLAB ) , which added 3.2%.

The decliners from North Asia were led by online used car dealer Uxin ( UXIN ) and real estate company KE (BEKE), which fell past 10% and 3.7% respectively.

They were followed by electric vehicle maker Nio (NIO), which dropped 3%.

From South Asia, the gainers were led by India's HDFC Bank ( HDB ) and tech company Wipro ( WIT ) , which rose 3.3% and 1.7% respectively.

The decliners from South Asia were led by Philippine telecommunications company PLDT ( PHI ) , which fell 1.6%.
