Asian Equities Traded in the US as American Depositary Receipts Little Changed in Wednesday Trading

10:32 AM EDT, 10/22/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Asian equities traded in the US as American depositary receipts were little changed Wednesday morning, edging 0.05% lower to 2,712.81 on the S&P Asia 50 ADR Index.

From North Asia, the gainers were led by consumer lending firm LexinFintech ( LX ) and game live-streaming platform HUYA ( HUYA ) , which rose 4.9% and 4%, respectively. They were followed by online entertainment company iQIYI (IQ) and electric vehicle maker NIO (NIO), which were up 3.5% each.

The decliners from North Asia were led by consumer lending firm Eason Technology ( DXF ) and computer hardware maker Canaan (CAN), which fell 7.8% and 5.3%, respectively. They were followed by diagnostic imaging centers company Concord Medical Services ( CCM ) and brand platform 36Kr (KRKR), which were down 4.1% and 4%, respectively.

From South Asia, the gainers were led by lender ICICI Bank ( IBN ) and IT firm Sify Technologies ( SIFY ) , which advanced 1.7% and 1.4%, respectively. They were followed by IT company Wipro ( WIT ) and pharmaceutical firm Dr. Reddy's Laboratories (RDY), which increased 1.3% and 1.2%, respectively.

The only decliners from South Asia were tech conglomerate Sea (SE) and telecommunications operator Telekomunikasi Indonesia (TLK), which fell 3.2% and 1.7%, respectively.
