10:40 AM EDT, 06/06/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Asian equities traded in the US as American depositary receipts were rising on Friday morning, up 0.3% to 2,289.60 on the S&P Asia 50 ADR Index.
From North Asia, the gainers were led by photovoltaics company Daqo New Energy ( DQ ) and biotechnology firm I-Mab ( IMAB ) , which advanced 7.9% and 5.7% respectively. They were followed by computer hardware maker Canaan (CAN), which added 5.3%.
The decliners from North Asia were led by hotel management company H World ( HTHT ) and financial services firm Futu ( FUTU ) , which were falling 3.7% and 3.2% respectively. They were followed by data center operator GDS (GDS) and electric vehicle company Xpeng ( XPEV ) , which dropped 3.3% and 2.7% respectively.
From South Asia, the gainers were led by Indian banks HDFC (HDB) and ICICI (IBN), which rose 2.2% and 1.1% respectively.
