10:55 AM EDT, 03/13/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Asian equities traded in the US as American depositary receipts were tracking higher Friday morning, rising 0.91% to 2,686.68 on the S&P Asia 50 ADR Index, which is up 0.77% for the week.
From North Asia, the gainers were led by semiconductor company Himax Technologies ( HIMX ) and tech conglomerate Xunlei ( XNET ) , which climbed 12% and 8.3% respectively. They were followed by online game developer The9 ( NCTY ) and game live-streaming service HUYA ( HUYA ) , which advanced 7.2% and 6.5% respectively.
The decliners from North Asia were led by liquid thin-film display maker LG Display ( LPL ) and healthcare platform 111 (YI), which fell 2.1% and 2% respectively. They were followed by biopharmaceutical company Zai Lab ( ZLAB ) and automotive company Honda Motor ( HMC ) , which were down 0.9% and 0.6% respectively.
From South Asia, the only gainers were tech conglomerate Sea (SE) and IT firm Infosys ( INFY ) , which rose 1.9% and 0.9% respectively.
The decliners from South Asia were led by IT firm Wipro ( WIT ) and pharmaceutical company Dr. Reddy's Laboratories (RDY), which dropped 1.3% each. They were followed by IT company Sify Technologies ( SIFY ) and lender HDFC Bank ( HDB ) , which lost 0.7% and 0.4% respectively.
