Asian Equities Traded in the US as American Depositary Receipts Rise in Wednesday Trading

10:59 AM EDT, 06/04/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Asian equities traded in the US as American depositary receipts were higher on Wednesday morning, up 1.3% to 2,288.61 on the S&P Asia 50 ADR Index.

From North Asia, the gainers were led by beverage company Chagee ( CHA ) and bitcoin miner Cango ( CANG ) , which advanced 5.6% and 5.5%, respectively.

They were followed by e-commerce and tech giant Alibaba ( BABA ) , which climbed 3.1%.

The decliners from North Asia were led by education technology company Ambow Education ( AMBO ) and financial technology firm AMTD Digital ( HKD ) , which fell 2.9% and 1.9% respectively.

From South Asia, the gainers were led by housing finance company HDFC Bank ( HDB ) , which rose 1%.

The decliners from South Asia were led by consulting and IT services company Infosys ( INFY ) , which was shedding 0.4%.
