Asian Equities Traded in US as ADRs Drop in Thursday Trading

10:37 AM EST, 02/26/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Asian equities traded in the US as American depositary receipts fell Thursday morning with the S&P Asia 50 ADR Index declining 1.7% to 2,942.66.

From North Asia, the gainers were led by LCD maker LG Display ( LPL ) and pet-focused platform Boqii ( BQ ) , which rose 4% and 3% respectively. They were followed by used car marketplace Uxin ( UXIN ) and casino and resort operator Melco Resorts & Entertainment ( MLCO ) , which were up 2.2% and 1.9% respectively.

The decliners from North Asia were led by consumer lender Eason Technology ( DXF ) and lender CNFinance ( CNF ) , which shed 9.2% and 7.3% respectively. They were followed by online entertainment service iQIYI (IQ) and fashion platform MOGU ( MOGU ) , which were down 6.2% and 5.6% respectively.

From South Asia, the gainers were led by IT services provided Infosys ( INFY ) and tech conglomerate Sea (SE), which advanced 2.6% and 2.2% respectively. They were followed by IT company Wipro ( WIT ) and telecommunications operator PLDT ( PHI ) , which increased 2.1% and 0.4% respectively.

The decliners from South Asia were led by pharmaceutical company Dr. Reddy's Laboratories (RDY), which dropped 0.8%, followed by lender ICICI Bank ( IBN ) and telecommunications operator Telekom Indonesia (TLK), which lost 0.4% and 0.3% respectively.
