Australian Prime Minister Anthony Albanese on Sunday, November 5, vowed to 'work constructively' with China, aiming to improve relations between the two countries, news agency AFP reported.
Albanese delivered this message during his visit to the China International Import Expo in Shanghai, marking the first full day of his high-profile state visit to Australia's largest trading partner.
He emphasised the importance of constructive economic engagement in building and strengthening relationships between nations. "That is why the government I lead will continue to work constructively with China," he stated.
Albanese arrived in Shanghai on Saturday evening for a four-day visit. Upon his arrival, he was welcomed at the airport by senior diplomats from both Australia and China. On his visit from November 4 to 7, he will spend time in Sanghai and Beijing.
