Biden or Trump: US election 2020 sharply polarizes America
Nov 5, 2020 11:36 AM

Election counting in the United States has entered its third day. Joe Biden leads with 264 electoral votes and seems on course for a victory. If this happens, it will be the first time in 28 years that an incumbent would be defeated in the US polls.

Meanwhile, Trump with 214 electoral votes, needs 56 votes. We are still awaiting results in key races such as Pennsylvania, Georgia, North Carolina, Arizona and Nevada which have 68 votes. Trump has challenged vote count in four states.

To discuss this, Parikshit Luthra spoke to Matthew Goodman Senior VP- Economic Policy at CSIS, Steven Herman Bureau Chief - White House at Voice of America, Brent Kendall Legal Affairs Reporter at Wall Street Journal and MR Rangaswami Founder at Indiaspora Forum.
