April 8 (Reuters) - Canada's main stock index opened
higher on Monday, boosted by materials-linked shares, while
investors awaited a busy week with the Bank of Canada's rate
decision and key economic data releases in the United States.
At 9:31 a.m. ET (13:31 GMT), the Toronto Stock Exchange's
S&P/TSX composite index was up 37.09 points, or 0.17%,
at 22,301.47.
