May 25 (Reuters) - Canada's main stock index opened at a
record high on Monday, as investors took comfort from signs that
the United States and Iran were negotiating an end to their
conflict, easing concerns about inflation.
At 9:30 a.m. ET, the Toronto Stock Exchange's S&P/TSX
composite index was up 0.7% at 34,730.30 points.
