June 10 (Reuters) - Canada's main stock index opened lower
on Wednesday as renewed U.S.-Iran tensions cast doubts on
prospects for a deal to end the war, while investors awaited the
outcome of the Bank of Canada's policy meeting later in the day.
At 9:30 a.m. ET, the Toronto Stock Exchange's S&P/TSX
Composite Index .GSPTSE was down 0.5% at 34,234.22 points.
