CANADA STOCKS-TSX opens flat ahead of Fed interest-rate decision

Sept 18 (Reuters) - Canada's main stock index opened

flat on Wednesday ahead of the U.S. Federal Reserve's monetary

policy decision later in the day, where investors anticipate an

outsized interest-rate cut.

At 9:31 a.m. ET (13:31 GMT), the Toronto Stock Exchange's

S&P/TSX composite index was down 4.19 points, or

0.02%, at 23,673.51.
