Sept 4 (Reuters) - Canada's main stock index opened
subdued on Thursday after a softer-than-expected U.S. private
payrolls report, while investors awaited domestic employment
data that could influence the Bank of Canada's September
interest-rate decision.
At 9:31 a.m. ET (1331 GMT), the Toronto Stock Exchange's
S&P/TSX composite index was down 0.03% at 28,743.51
points.
