May 15 (Reuters) - Canada's main stock index opened

subdued on Thursday, as markets took a breather after weeks of

trade deal-fueled recovery from April's meltdown.

At 9:31 a.m. ET (1331 GMT), the Toronto Stock Exchange's

S&P/TSX composite index was down 0.01% at 25,690.82

points.
