CANADA STOCKS-TSX opens higher after tariff-led selloff

April 8 (Reuters) - Canada's main stock index opened

higher on Tuesday, with information and technology stocks

leading the gains, after three straight sessions of heavy

selling as investors await potential U.S. tariff negotiations.

At 9:31 a.m. ET (1331 GMT), the Toronto Stock Exchange's

S&P/TSX composite index was up 2% at 23,308.37 points.
