July 3 (Reuters) - Canada's main stock index opened
higher to hit a record high on Thursday as investors assessed
domestic and U.S. economic data, while a U.S.-Vietnam trade pact
renewed optimism around global trade deals ahead of the July 9
tariff deadline.
At 9:31 a.m. ET (1331 GMT), the Toronto Stock Exchange's
S&P/TSX composite index was up 0.1% at 26,895.04
points.
