May 22 (Reuters) - Canada's main stock index opened
higher on Friday, as investors watched for signs of a
breakthrough in discussions to end the nearly three-month-long
Middle East conflict.
At 9:30 a.m. ET, the Toronto Stock Exchange's S&P/TSX
composite index was up 0.2% at 34,482.12 points.
