CANADA STOCKS-TSX opens higher as tech shares advance ahead of Nvidia results

Feb 26 (Reuters) - Canada's main stock index opened

higher on Wednesday, lifted by information technology stocks

ahead of U.S. chip giant Nvidia's results, while National Bank

of Canada's strong quarterly earnings extended the banking

sector's winning streak.

At 9:35 a.m. ET (1435 GMT), the Toronto Stock Exchange's

S&P/TSX composite index was up 0.18% at 25,250.27.
