Sept 12 (Reuters) - Canada's main stock index opened
higher on Thursday, boosted by gains in mining and energy
shares, while investors parsed through latest economic data from
the United States.
At 9:31 a.m. ET (13:31 GMT), the Toronto Stock Exchange's
S&P/TSX composite index was up 84.04 points, or 0.36%,
at 23,295.21.
