July 24 (Reuters) - Canada's main stock index opened
lower on Wednesday, tracking losses on Wall Street, while
investors awaited the Bank of Canada's monetary policy meeting
that is expected to result in an interest-rate cut.
At 9:30 a.m. ET (1330 GMT), the Toronto Stock Exchange's
S&P/TSX composite index was down 57.58 points, or
0.25%, at 22,756.17 at open.
