CANADA STOCKS-TSX opens lower as strong jobs data stokes rate concerns

June 5 (Reuters) - Canada's main stock index opened

lower on Friday, tracking losses on Wall Street, as

stronger-than-expected U.S. and domestic payrolls data fueled

expectations of a tighter monetary policy.

At 9:30 a.m. ET, the Toronto Stock Exchange's S&P/TSX

Composite Index was down 0.7% at 34,962.84 points.
