CANADA STOCKS-TSX opens lower with focus on tariff deadline

July 7 (Reuters) - Canada's main stock index opened

lower on Monday, dragged by losses in heavyweight mining stocks,

while investors assessed the latest delay in U.S. tariff

deadline.

At 9:31 a.m. ET (1331 GMT), the Toronto Stock Exchange's

S&P/TSX composite index was down 0.1% at 27,002.91

points.
