CANADA STOCKS-TSX opens slightly higher, investors assess inflation data

May 20 (Reuters) - Canada's main stock index opened

higher on Tuesday, led by gains in metal mining shares, as

investors parsed the country's inflation data.

At 9:32 a.m. ET (1332 GMT), the Toronto Stock Exchange's

S&P/TSX composite index was up 0.1% at 25,998.42

points.
