Nov 13 (Reuters) - Canada's main stock index opened

slightly lower on Thursday, as investors paused after the

benchmark hit a record high in the previous session and awaited

fresh signals on interest rates.

At 9:31 a.m. ET, Toronto's S&P/TSX composite index

was down 0.23% at 30,755.94 points.
