July 29 (Reuters) - Canada's main stock index rose on
Monday. led by gains in energy shares, while investors awaited
the U.S. Federal Reserve's interest rate decision later this
week to gauge direction of global monetary policy.
At 9:31 a.m. ET (1331 GMT), the Toronto Stock Exchange's
S&P/TSX composite index was up 45.08 points, or 0.2%
at 22859.89.
