Feb 20 (Reuters) - Canada's primary stock index edged

lower on Thursday as market participants weighed the potential

consequences of fresh tariff threats issued by U.S. President

Donald Trump.

At 9:31 a.m. ET (1431 GMT), the Toronto Stock Exchange's

S&P/TSX composite index was down 0.1% at 25,5590.86.
