Sept 17 (Reuters) - Canada's benchmark stock index

opened flat on Wednesday, as markets awaited the Bank of Canada

and the U.S. Federal Reserve's rate verdicts.

At 9:31 a.m. ET (1331 GMT), Toronto's S&P/TSX composite

index was unchanged at 29,298.32 points.
