07:15 AM EDT, 05/09/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Wall Street futures pointed modestly lower pre-bell Thursday, as traders weighed the earnings season and awaited fresh market catalysts.

Yields on benchmark 10-year US Treasuries inched higher, touching just above 4.50%.

Brookfield (BN), Constellation Energy ( CEG ) and Roblox ( RBLX ) plan to report earnings pre-bell, among others.

On the thin economic calendar is the weekly jobless claims report at 8:30 am ET, followed by the weekly EIA domestic natural gas supplies bulletin at 10:30 am.

In pre-market action, Bitcoin traded at $61,019, West Texas Intermediate crude oil traded higher at $79.72, and 10-year US Treasuries offered 4.51%. Spot gold traded for $2,310 an ounce.
