06:34 AM EST, 11/05/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Wall Street futures pointed moderately higher pre-bell Tuesday as traders digested the earnings season, and awaited the national election results.

In the futures, the S&P 500 rose 0.2%, the Nasdaq inclined 0.3% and the Dow Jones was up 0.1%.

Palantir Technologies (PLTR) traded up 13.4% pre-bell after the software maker late Monday reported better-than-expected Q3 results and issued upbeat guidance, citing strong demand for AI-related services.

Astera Labs (ALAB) traded up 24.8% pre-bell after the cloud and AI infrastructure outfit issued Q3 results and upbeat guidance, late Monday.

Century Aluminum (CENX) traded up 5.2% pre-bell after the metal producer reported Q3 adjusted earnings up on year, and above expectations of two analysts polled by Capital IQ. The company's Q3 sales declined on year, and missed outlooks.

Blue chips Apollo Global Management (APO), Thompson Reuters (TRI) and Emerson Electric (EMR) report earnings pre-bell, among others. Automaker Ferrari (RACE) also reports earnings Tuesday.

Asian exchanges traded mostly higher overnight, after a strong October service sector report in China. European bourses edged north midday on the continent.

On the economic calendar is the September international trade in goods and services bulletin at 8:30 am ET, followed by the ISM services index for October at 10 am.

In premarket action, Bitcoin traded at $68,760, West Texas Intermediate crude oil traded higher at $71.93, and 10-year US Treasuries offered 4.30%. Spot gold traded for $2,737 an ounce.
