From continental Europe, the gainers were led by biopharmaceutical firm DBV Technologies ( DBVT ) and energy company Equinor ( EQNR ) , which rose 6.6% and 2.3% respectively.
They were followed by energy firm Eni (E), up 1.8%.
The decliners from continental Europe were led byclinical-stage pharmaceutical company Addex Therapeutics (ADXN) and cybersecurity firm Wisekey ( WKEY ) , which fell 13% and 5.4% respectively.
They were followed by medical device company Edap (EDAP), down 3.3%.
From the UK and Ireland, the gainers were led by software development company Endava ( DAVA ) and biotech company Bicycle Therapeutics ( BCYC ) , which rose 4.2% and 3.4% respectively.
The decliners from the UK and Ireland were led by bitcoin mining company Argo Blockchain ( ARBK ) and financial institution Barclays ( BCS ) , which lost 4.3% and 2.5% respectively.
