European Equities Traded in the US as American Depositary Receipts Advance Wednesday

11:18 AM EDT, 06/04/2025 (MT Newswires) -- European equities traded in the US as American depositary receipts were rising on Wednesday morning, up 0.78% to 1,476.53 on the S&P Europe Select ADR Index.

From continental Europe, the gainers were led by clinical-stage biotech company Abivax ( ABVX ) and steel manufacturer ArcelorMittal ( MT ) , which rose 6.6% and 1.7% respectively. They were followed by drink and brewing giant Anheuser-Busch Inbev ( BUD ) , which added 1.6%.

The decliners from continental Europe were led by biotech firm BioNTech (BNTX) and biopharmaceutical company Cellectis ( CLLS ) , which fell 2.4% and 1.1% respectively.

From the UK and Ireland, the gainers were led by blockchain technology company Argo Blockchain ( ARBK ) and biotech company Autolus Therapeutics ( AUTL ) , which rose 4.5% and 2.7% % respectively.

The decliners from the UK and Ireland were led by biotech firm Centessa Pharmaceuticals ( CNTA ) and biopharmaceutical company Adaptimmune Therapeutics ( ADAP ) , which were down 1.7% and 0.7% respectively.
