European Equities Traded in the US as American Depositary Receipts Decline in Friday Trading

11:02 AM EST, 11/14/2025 (MT Newswires) -- European equities traded in the US as American depositary receipts were tracking lower late Friday morning, declining 0.93% to 1,612.91 on the S&P Europe Select ADR Index, which is up 0.57% for the week so far.

From continental Europe, the gainers were led by pharmaceutical company Ascendis Pharma ( ASND ) and biopharmaceutical company Cellectis ( CLLS ) , which rose 4.6% and 5.6 %, respectively. They were followed by biopharmaceutical companies DBV Technologies ( DBVT ) and Grifols ( GRFS ) , which were up 1.8% and 0.2% respectively.

The decliners from continental Europe were led by medical device maker EDAP TMS ( EDAP ) and 3D printer company Materialise (MTLS), which fell 2.6% and 2.5% respectively. They were followed by software firm SAP (SAP) and pharmaceutical company Novo Nordisk ( NVO ) , which were down 2.4% and 1.7% respectively.

From the UK and Ireland, the gainers were led by biopharmaceutical company Akari Therapeutics ( AKTX ) and biotech firm Autolus Therapeutics ( AUTL ) , which advanced 5.8% and 5.1% respectively. They were followed by biopharmaceutical company Biodexa Pharmaceuticals ( BDRX ) and biotech firm Trinity Biotech ( TRIB ) , which increased 1.6% and 3.4% respectively.

The decliners from the UK and Ireland were led by biopharmaceutical company NuCana (NCNA) and software company Endava ( DAVA ) , which dropped 2.9% and 1.9% respectively. They were followed by pharmaceutical company Silence Therapeutics ( SLN ) and mining company BHP Group ( BHP ) , which lost 2.2% and 1.8% respectively.
