From continental Europe, the gainers were led by furniture maker Natuzzi (NTZ) and biopharmaceutical company DBV Technologies ( DBVT ) , which rose 8.6% and 4.1% respectively. They were followed by petroleum refiner Equinor ( EQNR ) and brewing company Anheuser-Busch InBev ( BUD ) , which increased 4% and 3% respectively.
The decliners from continental Europe were led by telecommunications company Nokia ( NOK ) and internet browser company Opera (OPRA), which fell 5.3% and 3.7% respectively. They were followed by 3D printer firm Materialise (MTLS) and lender ING Group (ING), which were down 1.4% and 1.2% respectively.
The gainers from the UK were led by Akari Therapeutics ( AKTX ) and alcoholic beverage company Diageo ( DEO ) , which rose 8.6% and 3.5% respectively. They were followed by communications company WPP ( WPP ) and oil and gas company Shell (SHEL), which were up 3.3% each.
The decliners from the UK and Ireland were led by Trinity Biotech ( TRIB ) and mining company BHP Group ( BHP ) , which lost 6.4% and 3.7% respectively. They were followed by Autolus Therapeutics ( AUTL ) and lender Barclays ( BCS ) , which dropped 3.1% and 2.2% respectively.
