European Equities Traded in the US as American Depositary Receipts Edge Higher Monday

11:16 AM EDT, 06/09/2025 (MT Newswires) -- European equities traded in the US as American depositary receipts were edging up on Monday morning, with the S&P Europe Select ADR Index fractionally higher at 1,481.60.

From continental Europe, the gainers were led by cybersecurity firm Wisekey ( WKEY ) and semiconductor company ASML ( ASML ) , which rose 15% and 3.5%, respectively.

They were followed by specialty vaccine company Valneva (VALN), which added 1.6%, and energy company Equinor ( EQNR ) , up 0.7%.

The decliners from continental Europe were led by biotech firms Abivax ( ABVX ) and Evaxion ( EVAX ) , which fell 4.9% and 2.2%, respectively.

They were followed by advertising company Criteo ( CRTO ) , down 1%.

From the UK and Ireland, the gainers were led by semiconductor company Arm (ARM) and beverage giant Diageo ( DEO ) , which rose 5% and 1.4%, respectively.

They were followed by software development company Endava ( DAVA ) , up 1.3%.

The decliners from the UK and Ireland were led by biotech companies Immunocore ( IMCR ) and Autolus Therapeutics ( AUTL ) , which fell 3.5% and 2.4%, respectively.
