European Equities Traded in the US as American Depositary Receipts Edge Lower in Monday Trading

11:14 AM EDT, 06/23/2025 (MT Newswires) -- European equities traded in the US as American depositary receipts were softer late Monday morning, declining 0.12% to 1,453.27 on the S&P Europe Select ADR Index.

From continental Europe, the gainers were led by Telefonica ( TEF ) and biotech firm Evaxion ( EVAX ) , which rose 1.4% and 1.1% respectively. They were followed by financial services company ING (ING), which was 1%.

The decliners from continental Europe were led by biopharmaceutical company DBV Technologies ( DBVT ) and pharmaceutical company Novo Nordisk ( NVO ) , which dropped 7.3% and 4.2% respectively. They were followed by biopharmaceutical company Genfit ( GNFT ) and biotech firm BioNTech (BNTX), which lost 3.3% and 3.2% respectively.

From the UK and Ireland, the gainers were led by Akari Therapeutics ( AKTX ) and Biodexa Pharmaceuticals ( BDRX ) , which advanced 6.3% and 6.2% respectively. They were followed by Autolus Therapeutics ( AUTL ) and Adaptimmune Therapeutics ( ADAP ) , which rose 5.1% and 3.2% respectively.

The decliners from the UK and Ireland were led by biopharmaceutical company NuCana ( NCNA ) and Trinity Biotech ( TRIB ) , which fell 13% and 3% respectively. They were followed by Bicycle Therapeutics (BCYC) and educational publisher Pearson (PSO), which were down 1.6% and 1.1% respectively.
