From continental Europe, the gainers were led by telecommunications company Nokia ( NOK ) and biotech firm Evaxion ( EVAX ) , which rose 4.1% and 3.9% respectively. They were followed by pharmaceutical company Ascendis Pharma ( ASND ) and accommodations booking site trivago (TRVG), which were up 0.5% and 0.3% respectively.
The decliners from continental Europe were led by software firm SAP (SAP) and medical device maker EDAP TMS ( EDAP ) , which dropped 4.8% and 4.7% respectively. They were followed by biopharmaceutical company DBV Technologies ( DBVT ) and furniture maker Natuzzi (NTZ), which lost 1.9% and 1.8% respectively.
The gainers from the UK were led by biopharmaceutical company Akari Therapeutics ( AKTX ) and biotech firm Autolus Therapeutics ( AUTL ) , which rose 11% and 4.7% respectively. They were followed by mining company BHP Group ( BHP ) and telecommunications operator Vodafone Group ( VOD ) , which were up 2.7% and 2.2% respectively.
The decliners from the UK and Ireland were led by biopharmaceutical company Mereo BioPharma Group ( MREO ) and software firm Endava ( DAVA ) , which fell 3.1% and 2.9% respectively. They were followed by biopharmaceutical company Biodexa Pharmaceuticals ( BDRX ) and educational publisher Pearson (PSO), which were down 2.1% and 1.4% respectively.
