European Equities Traded in the US as American Depositary Receipts Higher Tuesday

11:18 AM EDT, 03/17/2026 (MT Newswires) -- European equities traded in the US as American depositary receipts were rising Tuesday morning, up 1% to 1,757.12 on the S&P Europe Select ADR Index.

From continental Europe, the gainers were led by advertising company Criteo ( CRTO ) and oil company Eni (E), which climbed 5.1% and 4.4% respectively. They were followed by energy company Equinor ( EQNR ) , which added 3.6%.

The decliners from continental Europe were led by solar energy technology company Turbo Energy ( TURB ) and clinical stage biotechnology company Genenta Science (GNTA), which fell 19.6% and 2.4% respectively.

From the UK and Ireland, the gainers were led by biotechnology company Akari Therapeutics ( AKTX ) and semiconductor company Arm (ARM), which rose 10.3% and 4.2% respectively. They were followed by oil and gas giant BP (BP), which was up 2.8%.

The decliners from the UK and Ireland were led by commercial stage biotechnology company Trinity Biotech ( TRIB ) and clinical stage biopharmaceutical company Mereo BioPharma ( MREO ) , which shed 3.3% and 3.1% respectively.
