European Equities Traded in the US as American Depositary Receipts Little Changed in Monday Trading

11:14 AM EST, 11/24/2025 (MT Newswires) -- European equities traded in the US as American depositary receipts opened the week little changed late Monday morning, edging 0.1% higher to 1,572.55 on the S&P Europe Select ADR Index.

From continental Europe, the gainers were led by biopharmaceutical company Cellectis ( CLLS ) and internet browser company Opera (OPRA), which advanced 10% and 2.4%, respectively. They were followed by medical device maker EDAP TMS ( EDAP ) and telecommunications company Nokia ( NOK ) , which increased 1.7% and 1.5%, respectively.

The decliners from continental Europe were led by pharmaceutical company Novo Nordisk ( NVO ) and internet advertising firm Criteo ( CRTO ) , which fell 7.8% and 1.4%, respectively. They were followed by oil and gas company Eni (E), which was down 1%.

From the UK and Ireland, the gainers were led by biopharmaceutical companies Mereo BioPharma Group ( MREO ) and Bicycle Therapeutics ( BCYC ) , which rose 3.6% each. They were followed by biotech firm Trinity Biotech ( TRIB ) and biopharmaceutical company NuCana ( NCNA ) , which were up 3.2% and 1.7%, respectively.

The decliners from the UK and Ireland were led by biopharmaceutical company Akari Therapeutics ( AKTX ) , which dropped 5.2%. It was followed by utilities company National Grid ( NGG ) and communications company WPP ( WPP ) , which lost 1.6% each.
