From continental Europe, the gainers were led by biopharmaceutical company Genfit ( GNFT ) and semiconductor company Sequans Communications ( SQNS ) , which rose 4.3% and 4% respectively. They were followed by accommodations booking firm trivago (TRVG) and brewing company Anheuser-Busch InBev ( BUD ) , which were up 3% and 2% respectively.
The decliners from continental Europe were led by biopharmaceutical company argenx (ARGX) and pharmaceutical company Novo Nordisk ( NVO ) , which fell 14% and 3.9% respectively. They were followed by medical device maker EDAP TMS ( EDAP ) and biopharmaceutical company Ascendis Pharma ( ASND ) , which dropped 3.4% and 3% respectively.
From the UK and Ireland, the gainers were led by software company Endava ( DAVA ) and biotech firm Autolus Therapeutics ( AUTL ) , which climbed 7.1% and 6.1% respectively. They were followed by cruise line operator Carnival (CUK) and biopharmaceutical company Bicycle Therapeutics ( BCYC ) , which increased 2.1% and 2.1% respectively.
The decliners from the UK and Ireland were led by biopharmaceutical company NuCana ( NCNA ) and pharmaceutical company Silence Therapeutics ( SLN ) , which lost 65% and 4% respectively. They were followed by Verona Pharma ( VRNA ) and AstraZeneca ( AZN ) , which were down 3.4% and 3.2% respectively.
