European Equities Traded in the US as American Depositary Receipts Rise in Tuesday Trading

11:12 AM EST, 11/11/2025 (MT Newswires) -- European equities traded in the US as American depositary receipts were tracking higher late Tuesday morning, rising 0.86% to 1,627.53 on the S&P Europe Select ADR Index.

From continental Europe, the gainers were led by biopharmaceutical company DBV Technologies ( DBVT ) and pharmaceutical company Novo Nordisk ( NVO ) , which climbed 6.9% and 5.6% respectively. They were followed by biopharmaceutical company Cellectis ( CLLS ) and telecommunications operator Telefonica ( TEF ) , which advanced 3.9% and 3.8% respectively.

The decliners from continental Europe were led by biotech firm Evaxion ( EVAX ) and internet browser company Opera (OPRA), which decreased 3.5% and 2.4% respectively. They were followed by medical device maker EDAP (EDAP) and telecommunications company Nokia ( NOK ) , which were off 1.7% and 1.4% respectively.

From the UK and Ireland, the gainers were led by biopharmaceutical company Mereo BioPharma Group ( MREO ) and telecommunications operator Vodafone Group ( VOD ) , which rose 7.1% and 6.4% respectively. They were followed by biotech firm Autolus Therapeutics ( AUTL ) and communications company WPP ( WPP ) , which were up 6.1% and 3.7% respectively.

The decliners from the UK and Ireland were led by software firm Endava ( DAVA ) and biotech company Trinity Biotech ( TRIB ) , which shed 25% and 3.8% respectively. They were followed by biopharmaceutical companies Akari Therapeutics ( AKTX ) and Amarin ( AMRN ) , which dropped 2.9% and 0.5% respectively.
