European Equities Traded in the US as American Depositary Receipts Rise Thursday

11:18 AM EDT, 06/12/2025 (MT Newswires) -- European equities traded in the US as American depositary receipts were gaining on Thursday morning, up 1.1% to 1,508.28 on the S&P Europe Select ADR Index.

From continental Europe, the gainers were led by biopharmaceutical companies DBV Technologies ( DBVT ) and Genfit ( GNFT ) , which climbed 9% and 2.5% respectively.

They were followed by financial services company Santander (SAN), which rose 2%.

The decliners from continental Europe were led by pharmaceutical company Addex Therapeutics ( ADXN ) and biotech firm Abivax ( ABVX ) , which fell 10% and 3% respectively.

They were followed by advertising company Criteo ( CRTO ) , down 2%.

From the UK and Ireland, the gainers were led by pharmaceutical and biotech giants GSK (GSK) and AstraZeneca ( AZN ) , which rose 2.2% and 2.1% respectively.

The decliners from the UK and Ireland were led by biotech company Barinthus Biotherapeutics ( BRNS ) and biopharmaceutical company Adaptimmune Therapeutics ( ADAP ) , which retreated 5.2% and 4.5% respectively.
