European Equities Traded in the US as American Depositary Receipts Rise Wednesday

11:19 AM EDT, 06/11/2025 (MT Newswires) -- European equities traded in the US as American depositary receipts were rising on Wednesday morning, up 0.5% to 1,497.69 on the S&P Europe Select ADR Index.

From continental Europe, the gainers were led by pharmaceutical company Addex Therapeutics ( ADXN ) and advertising company Criteo ( CRTO ) , which rose 5.1% and 2% respectively.

They were followed by energy company Eni (E), up 1.4%.

The decliners from continental Europe were led by biotech companies Abivax ( ABVX ) and Evaxion ( EVAX ) , which fell 2.9% and 2% respectively.

From the UK and Ireland, the gainers were led by biopharmaceutical company Verona Pharma ( VRNA ) and biotech firm Bicycle Therapeutics ( BCYC ) , which gained 4.8% and 3.9% respectively.

They were followed by biotech company Barinthus Biotherapeutics ( BRNS ) , which added 2%.

The decliners from the UK and Ireland were led by biotech firms Akari Therapeutics ( AKTX ) and Autolus Therapeutics ( AUTL ) , which dropped 3.5% and 3.2% respectively.
