06:05 AM EST, 11/04/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Wall Street futures pointed lower pre-bell Tuesday, as traders adopted the global risk-off mood towards the richly priced tech- and AI-sectors.
Palantir Technologies traded down 7.2% in morning hours after the software maker and AI toolmaker reported record Q3 earnings late Monday, but investor concerns grew about the company's pricey valuation.
In the futures, the S&P 500 fell 1%, the Nasdaq declined 1.3% and the Dow Jones was off 0.7%.
Asian exchanges traded solidly lower overnight, as traders backed away from the tech sector. Likewise, European bourses tracked south midday on the continent.
On the tech-sector earnings scene, Advanced Micro Devices (AMD) reports quarterly results after bell.
On the economic calendar, Federal Reserve Governor Michelle Bowman is slated to speak on Tuesday.
In premarket action, Bitcoin traded at $103,687, West Texas Intermediate crude oil traded lower at $60.09, and 10-year US Treasuries offered 4.08%. Spot gold traded for $3,993 an ounce.
