July 10 (Reuters) - Greek industrial output declined by
2.0% year-on-year in May, after a revised 4.2% drop in April,
data from statistics service ELSTAT showed on Thursday.
A breakdown of index components showed manufacturing
production fell 1.4% from the same month in 2024. Electricity
output was dropped by 7.1% year-on-year, and mining production
was up by 9.1%.
Compared to the same month a year earlier, in May the
greatest percentage increase was recorded in the basic metals
divisions, while the highest percentage decrease was recorded in
the coke and refined petroleum products division, ELSTAT said.
