Oct 10 (Reuters) - Greek industrial output declined by
2.9% year-on-year in August, after a 0.5% drop in July, data
from statistics service ELSTAT showed on Friday.
A breakdown of index components showed manufacturing
production fell 0.8% from the same month in 2024. Electricity
output was dropped by 8.9% year-on-year, and mining production
was up by 2.4%.
Compared to the same month a year earlier, in August, the
greatest percentage increase was recorded in repair and
installation of machinery and equipment divisions, while the
highest percentage decrease was recorded in basic pharmaceutical
products division, ELSTAT said.
