Nov 8 (Reuters) - Greek industrial output rose by 2.5%
year-on-year in September, after an upwardly revised 3.3%
increase in August, data from statistics service ELSTAT showed
on Friday.
A breakdown of index components showed manufacturing
production rose 5.2% from the same month in 2023. Electricity
output dropped by 8.9% year-on-year, and mining production was
up by 9.6%.
Compared to the same month a year earlier, in September the
greatest percentage increase was recorded in printing and
reproduction of recorded products,, while the highest percentage
decrease was recorded in mining of coal and lignite, ELSTAT
said.
