Japan's benchmark Nikkei futures rise after BOJ holds rates steady

TOKYO, Oct 30 (Reuters) - Japan's Nikkei share average

futures rose on Friday after the Bank of Japan kept interest

rates steady at the conclusion of its policy meeting, as widely

expected.

Nikkei futures rose 0.3% to 51,510 by 0319 GMT,

having been close to flat prior to the news.
