07:07 AM EDT, 08/28/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Wall Street futures were muted Thursday pre-bell as traders digested chip-giant Nvidia's (NVDA) overnight quarterly earnings report, one that was strong on earnings but tempered on guidance.
Tech- and AI-bellwether Nvidia shares traded down 1.5% pre-bell.
In the futures, the S&P 500 was steady, the Nasdaq was flat and the Dow Jones was up 0.1%.
Asian exchanges traded choppily overnight, while European bourses tracked moderately lower midday on the continent.
Snowflake (SNOW) traded up 14% pre-bell after the cloud-based data-warehouse software provider posted solid Q2 results and issued upbeat guidance, late Wednesday.
On the economic calendar is the weekly jobless claims bulletin at 8:30 am ET, along with the second estimate of the Q2 GDP report, and the Q2 corporate profits bulletin.
The July pending home sales index posts at 10 am, followed by the
weekly EIA natural gas report at 10:30 am.
The Kansas City Fed Manufacturing Index for August posts at 11 am.
Federal Reserve Governor Christopher Waller speaks on Thursday.
In pre-market action, bitcoin traded at $112,907, West Texas Intermediate crude oil traded lower at $63.96, and 10-year US Treasuries offered 4.23%. Spot gold traded for $3,397 an ounce.
